EVE Online Tyrannis 1.2 is currently being deployed. A player news item with details is available here.
Update No. 1 posted at 10:30 UTC
Extended downtime is now in progress and so far everything is going according to plan. The first phase of the downtime involves updating the database to reflect code changes. This process was started at 05:00 UTC and is due to complete at 11:30 UTC, at which point Tranquility will have been updated to Tyrannis 1.2, and we will start verification and quality control of the update. We plan on opening the Tranquility server to players at 16:30 UTC. Further progress updates will be made throughout the day.
Last night we had an outtage at our primary network provider for Tranquility which resulted in a series of disconnects for the majority of our players. The first one occurred at 02:24 UTC and the second at 04:32. We sincerely apologize for this interruption which happened as a result of failed network maintenance on the provider side. Please note that this was not related to the planned downtime.
Update No. 2 posted at 11:30 UTC
Database updates have now been completed and Tranquility is up and running in VIP mode.
Verification and quality control procedures are underway, and so far everything is going according to schedule.

Thank you for keeping us in the loop. That's all most of us have ever really asked. I will reserve judgment on the release until I see it, but I go into 1.2 much calmer having some information beforehand.

As long as no critical system files are harmed during the update we're cool CCP. Thanks for another expansion to a great game.

I dont mind if this patch runs late. but i think we will all be very happy if you can keep up the transparency as to whats going on and keep us updated as best you can. This system is a million miles better than any previous you've done. So thanks for that and keep up the good work. <><><>Together we gank, devided we pop<><><><>

+1 to the great communication this time around. A lot fewer people would be as ticked off about unexpected downtimes if the communication to the player base was always this forthcoming and professional.

The new upgrade information page was an extremely welcome surprise!
over 3000 players in LXQ, actual communication about the upgrade process, shorter downtimes, usable keyboard shortcuts scheduled for Incursion, refactoring/rewrite of the UI code (shouldn't have been deployed in that buggy state but the undertaking of a task of this size with no immediate monetary rewards is a very clear commitment of CCP to EVE) -- for the first time during the last year I am actually starting to feel optimistic about the future of EVE.

Ze logs they show nothing,we didnt have lag on the server side,it must be your pc or isp cus eve runs just fine,or it ran fine in testing but when ya reboot you have a black screen.
I fully understand things dont allways work out for the best, things go wrong for everybody.Pls stop blameing everyone eles for mistakes. It gets old fast.
